Spirit Horse has decided to throw the mountain gates open for the summer solstice!
There will be five days of merry gathering, feasting, breathing, sweat lodge, sauna, workshops, drumming, ecstatic dancing, music, One Big Solstice Ritual, poetry, waterfall splashing, mountain walks, fireside revelry and what YOU bring.

At Spirit Horse we all eat from the same feasting table, food cooked with passion and for sharing. No rip off queues or festival traders, just tribe becoming deeper tribe. There will be time to relax, but also deep workshops where you can grow into being a real person. Join the work, join the fun, come to the wild!

Spirit Horse has for more than thirty years been the most spectacular camping ground, wildest retreat place and uncompromising community experiment in Britain. Tickets for this will sell out. We don't do big festivals. Our gatherings are tribal sized - like our ancestors tribes. Intimate and far away from commerce and war.

Where East and West meets in the Heart and become One...

During our Solstice celebration on the 24th of June Erika and Shivam will invite everyone who wish to be there to pay homage to Yeshe Tzogyel, the female Buddha in the Dhakini Temple for her active presence and protection for our valley and village over 25 years.
​
We shall Prepare offerings food and flowers, so bring some if you wish.
​
Dress in finery (with some red and white).
Bring bells and bone ornaments to call her.

Practicalities
Arrive on any day of the event (20th - 25th June) between 3.30pm - 5.30pm each day, depending on your ticket.
​
Please make sure to arrive on site at the arrival time. We will ferry you and all your gear in our four wheel drive vehicles down the steep mountain road to the village (if you don't fancy the spectacular mountain footpath). This takes only a few minutes to drive but you will have to load everything into our vehicles with our help. Welcome to the Bhutan of Wales. You can have the full Himalayan adventure without ever leaving Britain.
Spirit Horse Mountain Retreat is set amidst 200 acres of wildest Wales, allowed through the Forest of Dreams (registered charity) to return to its natural original face.

Bookings and Cancellations Policy
It is really helpful for us when running courses and events if you book in advance.
If we have to cancel an event, we will provide you a full refund without question.
If you need to cancel your booking, you can carry the value of your booking over to another event (subject to availability) or pay £100 admin fee, unless exceptional circumstances.
