Amidst a secluded, magnificent valley
in mid-Wales, we set-up our magical
encampment of roundhouses,
gers, yurts, tipis, benders, bedouin
tents, altars and sacred spaces. A
unique place among waterfalls, rock
pools, wooded gorges and mountain
paths, where we offer one thousand
welcomes to all pilgrims. hungry
souls and seekers. A place to learn,
dream, remember, return to roots,
sense your authentic contribution and
step forward.

These photographs can not possibly
convey what it is like to walk under
the branches of the trees on the many
paths through the encampment. It may
however give you some impression of
an archaically inspired community
amongst woods and waterfalls.
There are no pictures of our famous
ceremonies. You’ll have to come
and see them with your own eyes.
The Mountain Retreat is located within the land owned by The Forest of Dreams charity, who are preserving the land for all future generations. Spirit Horse uses about an acre of the land for it's structures, the other 199 acres being left largely to be wild.
